The law of conservation and transformation of energy
This is a general scientific law. It sounds like this: the sum of the potential and kinetic energy of an isolated system at any time remains constant . Thus, the vital activity of the system is limited by the internal energy reserve at its disposal. When such a system functions, the potential energy cyclically turns into kinetic energy and vice versa. In this case, everything goes on a decreasing spiral, since the efficiency is never equal to one and part of the energy with each transition is lost. A characteristic example is the damped oscillations of a pendulum.
In humanitarian socionics, such a single system is obviously a ring quaternion.. The dynamics of the quaternion in its free and autonomous functioning fully obey the law of conservation and transfer of energy from one form to another. If we recall that the first and third positions are stable, or base points, the following conclusions are suggested:
1
4 2
3
But when the ring “exhales,” that is, it exhausts its energy supply, what happens then to the psyche? It will transfer the initiative to some of the parallel rings, for example, the vital. The more complicated the psyche, the more of such rings it consists of.
As long as the vital works (according to exactly the same law), the mental will recharge with new energy, which will come either from outside or from the internal reserve and will again be ready for action. The best rest and recuperation, as is known, occurs at the expense of the dual. That is why a person energetically (and not informationally) will strive for a dual environment.

If we recall that the first and third positions are stable, or base points, the following conclusions are suggested:
- the first position of the ring is the point of maximum potential energy (and minimum kinetic, respectively)
- the third position opposite to it will be the point of minimum potential energy (and maximum kinetic)
- the second position acts as an intermediary between the extreme positions, connecting them from top to bottom, that is, from P to K.
- the fourth position acts as an intermediary between the third and the first, forcing the potential difference, “charging” the ring for the next turn of activity. It is like a jump from the bottom up, from K to P.

Basic questions of philosophy
Years go by and I catch myself thinking that more and more often “damn” questions come to my head, badly compatible with everyday fuss. I think that the circle of these questions, which constantly pops up philosophy in world history, is not so great - no more than four. These are the eternal questions:
The first question concerns the mission of man . He is also asked in this form: what is the meaning of life? I think that it reflects in the worldview of humanity the basic socionic polarity "Extraversion - introversion". To this (as well as to all subsequent questions) there are two cardinally opposite answers that set the benchmarks for assessing and correcting behavior. An extrovert answer - for implementation in society. The one who was realized in a society, that also took place as the successful person. This is the answer of the West, oriented to external attributes. The opposite answer is for inner cultivation, finding harmony with oneself. Success outdoor is unimportant. This is the answer of the introverted East.
The answer to the question about the knowability of the world reflects the choice between the poles "rationality - irrationality". A rational response states that the world is knowable, since it has a systematic nature, a pattern. Irrational answer: the world is unknowable, because everything is situational, chaotic and unpredictable in it. Knowledge (and not a simple description) implies proof and justification. In this it is the opposite of faith. I believe it is absurd, ”said Tertullian.
The issue of trans vonachale . This is the argument of Plato and Aristotle at the fresco "The School of Athens". Apparently, the “intuition - sensory” polarity is hidden here. The innate answer gives rise to the idealistic position, and the sensory one to the materialistic one. In modern socionics, this dilemma transformed into a dispute about energy and information. Supporters of information socionics are closer to the idealistic worldview, and the followers of our energy paradigm are closer to materialism.
And the last question is about free will . Is there free will or is everything determined? The answer is from the pole of logic: everything is predetermined by objective laws, including our choice. We can’t violate them at will. The world and man - albeit complex, but mechanisms. Over time, they will be measured quantitatively. The answer from the pole of ethics: man and the world are animate beings endowed with a subjective soul and free will. At will, they change the course of laws, create their life and history. Qualitative knowledge (through empathy, playing, etc.) is more important than quantitative.
- what are we living for?
- Is the world knowable?
- What comes first: matter or idea?
- Is there free will?

Information or energy
The concept of "information", widely used in socionics, is extremely multivalued. A person starting to read books on its fundamentals, suddenly discovers that the psyche is based on "information metabolism". But is it legitimate to reduce the mental life of the individual and the collective to the exchange of information? And in general, what is the specificity of the information about which socionics write and speak?
In everyday speech, information means knowledge about something, information. For example, they say it is an informed person. So called the person who possesses information on some issue. Information as awareness probably will not cause any objection.
But if we take the semantics of the word “information” itself, then we get the second understanding of this term. Information is that which is contained within (in-) some form. Simply content, content (or, as they say in English manner, content).
In the socionic paradigm, familiar to most amateurs, information is interpreted rather in the second sense. It is not for nothing that when traditional socionics conduct type-diagnosis, they resort to simple procedures of content analysis. So it turns out linguistic determinism: you respond to words with a sensual meaning, which means you are ethics, etc.
Humanitarian socionics is closer to the first understanding of the term "information". However, it narrows its meaning to orderly, organized knowledge. And also takes into account that there are two different types of knowledge. Firstly, these are laws and instructions, information “I know” (L-interpretation). Secondly, it is the accumulated experience, the information "I can" (P-interpretation). The information "I know" does not coincide with the information "I am able". And the difference is not only in theory and practice. Practically applicable instruction still remains of L . This is about energy. Business logic is less informational, but more energetic. It exists only when it acts.
Thus, information and energy form a dialectical unity of opposites and somewhat resemble two poles of a magnet connected by closed lines of a communicative field. Each of the four Jung mental functions (sensation, feeling, intuition and thinking) is divided into energy and information poles. And this division coincides with the polarity of extraversion - introversion, which Jung considered to be the main one. And in the extrovert function of the energy is much more than in the introverted. For example, the same P will do, even when there is no information, and L to think, even when there is energy.
However, under the information can be brought and implicit knowledge. But this is the intuitive aspect of information. About this another time.

Post information society
The post-information society will come when energy is transmitted and used as easily as information today. Including wireless - wirelessly and directionally, targeting about .Therefore, it can be called a new energy society (as opposed to the old, industrial).
Humanitarian socionics was conceived just for such a society, for the future life in the conditions of a shortage of energy resources, and not only fuel and raw materials, but also psychological ones - disappointment, apathy, low motivation. It develops and promotes effective (with high energy efficiency) actions of people both alone and in groups. Moreover, small and medium groups are preferred.
At the end of November this year. I tried to convey to the listeners of the socionic seminar in Odessa not only the technical part of the HS, but also this worldview that is so important to me.

Type-Relationship Polarity
Socionic polarities contain the paradox of perception. It is especially revealing that it is revealed in a pair of poles "socionic object - relation to it". The essence of PA p ADOXA is that not possible equally well to recognize and type, and the ratio in the same time and at the same distance . When the observer focuses his attention on one of these poles, it blurs and moves away from the perception opposite to it.
Any communicative system is designed in such a way that at a distance the type of the communicative object is clearly visible, but the attitude towards it will be uncertain - vary in a wide range, from repulsive to attractive (or in reverse order) . This phenomenon is well illustrated by dual images from psychological textbooks.
Who is depicted in this picture: a young woman or an old woman? - How to look. Maybe first one, and then another. But not at the same time.
This fundamental mental uncertainty cannot be eliminated, no matter what instruments you use. To clarify the relationship to a person, to make it definite, you need to get close to him. However, the closer you stand to the carrier type, the worse it is distinguished as a whole.Visible only the game of enhanced or weakened functions in its psychological profile .
Thus, the more we distinguish the type, the more blurred is the cloud of relations around it.“Face to face not to see,” wrote S. Yesenin on this topic.

Information and energy: what's the difference?
How can a simple listener explain what the most fundamental concepts in socionics are - information and energy? What are the types of information and energy?
I will try to formulate the necessary definitions.
Information is a product of the reflection of the psyche of the environment (or, if the psyche is highly developed, of itself). The result of this process is information, knowledge, skills.
Energy , in contrast to information, is the ability of the psyche to influence, change the environment (or oneself).
Thus, one can know everything (maximum information), but remain inactive (minimum energy) or, on the contrary, be very influential (maximum energy), but do not delve into anything and remember nothing (minimum information).
There are two most important manifestations of psychic energy - motivation (readiness for action) and goal achievement (action itself). A bit like the difference between potential and kinetic energy in physics.
Similar differences can be made in the information. The first kind of information is the content (that is, the content) of the communicative object. The second kind of information is the level of organization (complexity) of the object itself.
The first kind of information is used to determine a sociotype from its texts or some other content. Information, understood as the complexity of the organization of the system, formed the basis of the concept of the dimensions of the socionic model. It is believed that the more complex an element of the model is, the greater the number of dimensions inherent in it.
The information dimensionality of our model (meaning the energy model of the socionic object) seriously differs from the dimensionality of model A , proposed in its time by A. Bukalov. In particular, in the framework of our approach, the most complex (multidimensional) position of the energy model is the third (role) one — it is four-dimensional. How to explain it? - The fact is that in addition to its own management (the property of three-dimensional organized objects), the role-playing takes into account more information from the coach, director, supervisor, etc., that is, the fourth dimension .

Information noise
It will be about the destructive influence of information socionics in its extreme forms. In this thought, I became even stronger after the recently concluded IIA conference. The incarnation of extreme informationism in Kiev is Semyon Churyumov (in the photo).
In the modern socionic movement he performs the role of "Criticism". This role, of course, is necessary, but it must be objective. Churyumov, on the other hand, occupies the extreme orthodox position of an informationist and idealist to the core. This is his right, but those recommendations that he made during the conference, I regard as a direct harm to the spread of socionics.
Not only that our Kiev version of socionics is notorious, divorced from practice requests, so Churyumov (of course, from good intentions) also adds fuel to the fire, turning socionics into a theoretical monster that psychology teachers will scare students with. Rare retrograde. He would have to do his math, criticize non-compliance with formal logic, but not go into humanitarian practice. It is necessary so to be able, with a Jesuit smile, to slip to a confused, unsteady in his knowledge newcomer, his scientific-like informational noise.
Socionics, fortunately, has some experience in adapting to practice. In particular, many serious researchers have abandoned the "black" sensory, "white" intuitions and other absurdities. And here Churyumov begins the fight against the socionics that I proposed at the dawn of the spread of socionics and quite established terms for psychological functions (such as force sensory, intuition of time, etc.).
Yes, almost as a new word in science, it gives its letter system, where extrovert functions are denoted by capital letters, and introverted ones by small letters. Why not the other way around? It turns out that the introvert is considered as a reduced extrovert. Why fix the western stereotype of second-introverts? Moreover, by this it limits the capabilities of the system at its first stage. Small letters should be used for the semantics of the second row - the designation of functional shades. For example, Ef - emotions of anger, Ei - emotions of curiosity, Er - emotions of shame and embarrassment.
Terminological creativity of informationists, resembling noise in a communication channel, sooner or later will lead theoretical socionics to a dead end. There is no social order for extraverted thinking. Social order is on business logic!

Meaningful and meaningless statements
Different socionic schools argue among themselves, mercilessly criticizing each other's statements. It is understood, of course, that the statements of the opponent are false, and their own are true. But besides the “truth - lie” dichotomy customary for debaters, there is also a polarity of meaningfulness . First of all, the statements must be divided into meaningful and meaningless, and only at the second step of the division - true or false. Such is the tetratome of knowledge.
Unfortunately, now competing socionic schools approach the subject of the dispute purely one-dimensional, operating only with the “true-false” polarity. However, if we act consistently, we must begin with the first step, that is, the dichotomy of meaning. If you do this, then it will turn out that most of the statements of one school in the system of concepts of another school are neither true nor false. They are meaningless.
For example, a long-standing dispute between me and A. Bukalov about the sociotypes of Boris Yeltsin or Yulia Tymoshenko. It is very difficult to find a common solution here, since the image of the type of MIS and ShGS is completely different. In particular, in the IIA "Entrepreneur" (LIE) can be a leader of the crowd and a fanatical revolutionary, and in the GE such is unlikely. According to our type images, social upheavals inspire and lead the quadra beta, not gamma.
Thus, socionic paradigms (initial sets of positions that form the picture of the researcher’s world) are simply incommensurable with the current state of socionic knowledge. Each paradigm has its own truth. Moreover, the gap between them only deepens over time. It is unlikely that truth is born in such disputes, but positions are becoming clearer. At least, this is how it looks for the casual observer.
But what then is true? - you ask. To this question we can not answer today. Judge time.
