Cognitive Style Diagnostic Methodologies

I had an interesting thought that the process of building and using various diagnostic methodologies in Socionics is related to the four Cognitive Styles (obviously types can use more styles than just their own but they will tend to use their own):


Causal Determinist (ILE, LSI, SEE, EII):
-coming up with clear, unifying, deterministic mechanisms underlying the personal and systematic types: functional positions, elements to fill the positions and all of the mutually consistent dichotomies built up from them
-methodically tracking internal compliance between the disparate positions and elements when diagnosing, categorically rejecting anything inconsistent with the hierarchy


Dialectical Algorithmic (SEI, EIE, ILI, LSE):
-feeling out the contradictions between people and systems and formulating them into various associations of oppositional dichotomies: type dichotomies, functional dichotomies, elemental dichotomies, subtype dichotomies, etc.
-monitoring the behavior, fluctuation, and reliability of these dichotomies to optimally reformulate the associations and to formulate associative predictions for people and systems


Holographic Panoramic (LII, SLE, ESI, IEE):
-congealing global non-overlapping structures that separate the stable communicative locations of different people and systems relative to one another: small groups, contrasting subsystems
-separating out the behavior of a person based on which characteristic small groups or subsystems remain hierarchically stable, and teasing out the different subsystems from the most global factors to the most local


Vortical Synergetic (ESE, IEI, LIE, SLI):
-noticing the emergent, fluctuating aspects of people and systems and trying out a variety of lifelike descriptions and ideas to characterize them: type descriptions, semantic descriptions, sensual patterns, experimental results, etc.
-matching dynamic descriptions onto people and systems by association and trial and error, monitoring the effectiveness and realism of the results
